Job Purpose
Main purpose of the job is to support India country tax manager to optimize the tax position of the companies in India compliant with the law and in accordance with ANs global business and tax principles on the basis of a proper regional tax control framework in a cost efficient way.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare local GST and CIT returns
- Manage local indirect tax and direct tax audit and enquires from tax authorities
- Handle local indirect tax and direct tax litigation/appeals/assessment
- Monitor local indirect tax and direct tax regulation changes and support country tax manager for timely communication with key stakeholders
- Represent the company to attend indirect and direct tax trainings/meetings
- Work with country tax manager to explore initiatives to mitigate local risks or capture local opportunities from indirect tax and direct tax perspective
- Support local indirect tax and direct tax incentive scheme application
- Design and deliver GST Credit accounting accuracy
- E-invoice implementation support
- Support country tax manager on GST implication advisory for relevant projects
- Perform timely reconciliations of tax credits to mitigate any GST credit loss
- Work effective with the I2P teams to ensure GST credits are booked and utilized timely
- Ensuring compliant necessary documentation for doing the financial transactions
- Work with relevant stakeholders and prepare local withholding tax filings with respect to dividends royalties interest global services and other applicable payments
- Prepare local filing of transfer pricing documentation Master file and CBCR notification
- Support country tax manager on direct tax implication advisory for relevant projects
- Assist in coordinating regional charge documentation/segmentation sheets
- Prepare special/extra ordinary business event local transfer pricing documentation
- Work with ACs on IFRS tax reporting and current/deferred tax positions
- Support Accounting Controller with Statutory Tax requirements
Experience
Bachelor degree major in accounting finance law or taxation and at least 5 years experiences gained in various in-house tax roles or experience gained in (big 4) consultancy firms with Adequate knowledge in tax matters and SAP and an advance user of Microsoft Excel
