When you join us as a Junior Sommelier at CUT at 45 Park Lane you will have a unique opportunity to excelin your field. You will learn from your fellow Legends and our award-winninglearning academy to achieve the highest standards in craft service andleadership.


Whatyoull do

As a Junior Sommelier youllenjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • Supportthe Sommelier Team: Help prepare serve and look after wine and drinks forguests keep wine stations tidy and handle bottles and glassware carefully.
  • Deliver5-Star Guest Service: Work with the team to give guests a luxury experience; answeringquestions assisting with wine choices and making sure service is smooth andprofessional.

The items shared are the essenceof a day in the life of a Junior Sommelier but well make sure you areprovided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.

The operational hours of work: 2PM to 11 PM / 12 PM to 10 PM

Whatyoull bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Attention to Detail - You canfollow wine service steps accurately check stock properly and store itemscarefully.
  • Clear Communication - Youspeak clearly and can talk with guests and teammates.
  • Teamwork - Yourehappy to work closely with senior sommeliers kitchen staff and waitstaff tomake service smooth.
  • Good Customer Service - Youcan help guests answer their questions and make them feel welcome.
  • Basic Organisation - Youkeep wine stations tidy and help set up and clean up before and after service.
  • Willingness to Learn - Youreopen to learning more about wine and service through training.
  • Care with Wine and Glassware - Youhandle bottles and glassware carefully and safely.

Preferred Skills

  • Some Wine Knowledge - You have a basic idea of grapetypes wine regions or how wines are served.
  • Fine Dining or Hotel Experience - Youve workedbefore in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel.
  • Language Skills - You can speak languages besidesEnglish (useful for international guests).
  • Food & Wine Pairing Knowledge - You know alittle about which wines go well with different dishes or are eager to learn.
