Do you have a keen interest in accounting and financial reporting excellent analytical skills and a desire to be part of a global diverse finance team in a company in an exciting phase of transformation and growth Do you enjoy close collaboration with colleagues and having your own areas of responsibility then this may be a role for you! DOF Group is looking for a skilled finance professional to join the finance team in Copenhagen.

With a multi-national workforce of over 5700 personnel DOF is an international group of companies which owns and operates a fleet of modern offshore/subsea vessels with an engineering capacity to service both the offshore and subsea market. With more than 40 years in the offshore business the group has a strong position in terms of experience innovation product range technology and capacity.
In late 2024 DOF Group acquired Maersk Supply Service (headquartered in Denmark) which means that DOF Group is still new in Denmark and we are on an exciting journey to integrate two companies. DOF is headquartered in Bergen Norway but has operations and business units in the UK Denmark USA Singapore Brazil Argentina Canada Angola and Australia.
The position will be based in our office in Copenhagen at Sundkrogsgade 7-9 2100 Copenhagen. The position reports to the Finance Manager Europe.
What you will be doing
In this role you will work closely with the business and senior management to achieve common goals while always seeking to challenge optimize and improve. You are expected to deliver high quality financial reporting within a well-defined area of responsibility.
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Independent financial management of companies in Europe Shore Base.
- Month End closing procedures.
- Accounting and reporting.
- General bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Customer invoicing and reconciliation (intercompany and external).
- Collaboration and financial support to our local Operations team and headquarters in Bergen Norway.
- Statutory accounts preparation and management of external audit.
- Supporting the tax department in filing tax returns as well as other compliance obligations.
Who we are looking for
We imagine you hold a degree in accounting and you have relevant experience from a large corporate or accounting firm. You thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You can engage and collaborate with colleagues from around the globe. Others view you as reliable and accurate. You take pride in your work and you have good attention to detail and exhibit sound judgement. Finally you speak and write English well as our corporate language is English.
