Job Opening: Locum Physician - OB/GYN in Jackson MI
Join a respected healthcare facility in Jackson Michigan as a Locum Physician specializing in OB/GYN. This practice provides comprehensive womens health services with a dedicated team including 2 physicians and 2.5 FTE APPs. The facility features 10 exam rooms an onsite lab and ultrasound capabilities all supported by an experienced staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care for low and high-risk pregnancies including routine and complicated deliveries.
- Perform necessary gynecological procedures such as IUD placements colposcopy and surgical interventions.
- Participate in hospital call coverage and assist during in-clinic hours (8 AM - 5 PM).
- Coordinate care with other OB/GYNs and collaborate with the Center for Family Health for call coverage.
- Document patient interactions and treatments using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Manage all aspects of patient care from initial assessment to follow-up visits.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN.
- Active Michigan medical license.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with both routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecological procedures.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- Michigan License - REQUIRED
- BLS Certification - REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
