Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - OB/GYN in Jackson MI
Join a dynamic team at a well-established womens health center in Jackson Michigan! This facility provides comprehensive care with a strong emphasis on obstetrics and gynecology services. Enjoy a collaborative work environment with state-of-the-art facilities including an onsite lab and ultrasound and receive support from experienced staff. The practice is currently seeking an OB/GYN physician to assist with coverage due to community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-house call coverage on a 24-hour shift basis
- Conduct routine and complicated deliveries (Vaginal C-Section Breech)
- Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform gynecological procedures including IUD insertions colposcopy and surgical gynecology
- Collaborate with other OB/GYNs and APPs for comprehensive patient care
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for maintaining patient records
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active Michigan Medical License
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous experience in a similar practice setting preferred
License & Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification - REQUIRED
- Michigan Medical License - REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
