Gynecology and ObstetricsKey Roles and Responsibilities:
The selected physician will join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The faculty will join a robust team of 20 residents maternal-fetal medicine and gynecologic oncology fellows and over thirty faculty to provide evidence-based quality care.
As a member of the Specialist Division the faculty will provide care on labor and delivery that would include supervision of residents and students as well as consultation to certified nurse midwives.
The ambulatory practice includes care in outpatient private clinics supervision of resident clinics and coverage of community-based clinics.
Ambulatory care and inpatient care including night and weekend Labor and Delivery and gynecology coverage.
Provide attendance and presentation at student resident and fellowship teaching conferences.
Guide and assist the house staff and students in preparing talks for meetings in writing publications and in conducting and presenting the results from research projects.
Be an example of an academic physician by conducting clinical research in the Division. Support the other scholarly activities of the School.

License:
Board certified or active candidate in obstetrics and gynecology eligible for Kansas medical license.
