Student and New Grad Opportunities
Our program is ideal for early career professionals who are new grads that have completed their courses within the past year as well as students in their current program of study. Work terms in our program can be counted towards an accredited co-op program with your university or college.
What can you expect from an EDC work term
The opportunity to build cross-functional professional networks identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation and continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring from professionals throughout EDC. Work in a high-performing fast-paced and flexible environment facilitated by technologies and report to any of our EDC Hubs across Canada.
Program Eligibility:
Applicants must be Canadian citizens permanent residents or hold a valid work visa at the time of application.
Applicants must meet government security screening requirements.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in post-secondary studies or have completed their studies within the past year.
Compensation Details:
Student New Grad & Masters salaries range from $42900 to $56550 annually based on year of study. Please see the salary breakdown by year of study below:
1st Year: $42900 ($22.00/hour)
2nd Year: $44850 ($23.00/hour)
3rd Year: $46800 ($24.00/hour)
4th Year and Beyond: $48750 ($25.00/hour)
New Graduate (Undergraduate): $54600 ($28.00/hour)
Masters/PhD: $56550 ($29.00/hour)
Team & Job Overview
The Sales Enablement team helps our sales professionals succeed by providing the tools training and insights they need to perform at their best. Were looking for a motivated organized and resourceful student to support key enablement projects within the Business Enablement team.
This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment contributing to initiatives that directly impact sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update training materials to ensure they are accurate and relevant
Assist in preparing and branding documents tools and communication assets.
Help create and organize internal documents ensuring they are stored in the correct systems.
Design and distribute the weekly Sales Newsletter (The Frontline).
Manage and update content on the teams SharePoint site.
Track attendance and participation in training sessions.
Screening Criteria
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 1 year) from an undergraduate or masters program in a relevant field such as:
o Business Administration
o Marketing
o Human Resources
o Commerce
o International Business
o Finance
Bilingual in English and French.
Assets
Previous co-op or work experience related to your field of study.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with good organizational and analytical abilities.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to take on tasks of all sizes.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Experience in financial services or a federal Crown corporation is an asset.
