The Human Resources assistant helps with the implementation of services policies and programs through HR staff; reports to the Head of Compensation and Benefits and assists company managers with HR issues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Human Resources assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources administration. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in all of the following functional areas: departmental development employee relations benefits compensation executive administration and employment:
Assisting with employee relations;
Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
Employee safety welfare wellness and health reporting;
Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system;
Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
Update the appropriate form when an employee changes his/her status: a promotion a dismissal new hire;
Prepare reports for managers within the organization;
Provide authorized information from the employees personnel records when requested;
Explain the organizations employment policies to new hires;
Required Skills:
At least one year of experience.
At least a high school diploma.
Training in computers filing and maintaining filing systems organizing and human resources practices.
Tactful diplomatic and able to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization
