Whats the role
As a Lead Business Analyst youll perform and lead business analysis tasks for the Consumer Finance Transformation Delivery team.
- Define and lead the associated scope in alignment with the project objectives desired business outcomes and capabilities being delivered for large projects; demonstrate an understanding of the agreed value outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder resistance or conflict to build effective working relationships that support successful outcomes; offer guidance and direction to team members.
- Identify select and manage resources within a consolidated model that considers required capabilities hybrid roles spans of control and levels of experience for large and complex projects or programs; provide support and leadership to others.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of requirements throughout large-scale projects independently. Demonstrate the ability to structure and package requirements within complex workstreams achieving consensus and formal approval without external direction.
- Deliver clear and impactful messages by tailoring the medium audience and content to suit the context; provide mentorship and guidance to others in communication best practices.
What do I need
- Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst working in large scale complex environment.
- The ability to lead and influence the team whilst delivering on time and on target with competing priorities.
- Extensive experience in business process improvement data and systems analysis and business case development.
- Experience in Consumer finance with specific Credit Card or Personal Loans- essential.
- Strong understanding of both strategic and operational aspects of technology and business systems.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices particularly within the financial services sector.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Experience with leading workshops.
- Comfortable working in dynamic fast-paced environments where responsibilities and priorities may vary.
