Role Purpose

JLLs Work Dynamics (WD) Research & Strategy team is looking for an accomplished Manager to join its Asia Pacific (APAC) team. Youll be joining a high-performing team that supports the growth of our WD business regionally and globally partnering closely with business leaders and engaging with clients and prospects. The role requires an innovative and analytical thought leader who creates and contributes to best-in-class research that differentiates JLL and delivers thought-provoking insights to clients. It is highly a client-centric role with a high proportion of stakeholder and client engagement. This role will suit a high achiever with a passion to create and influence insights and strategies for our wide-ranging Work Dynamics businesses.

There is an important industry focus to the role and you will work to support the APAC Work Dynamics business on sector-specific research both from a Macro level insight to occupier specific trends. The key focus sectors for this role are Banking and Financial Services Technology Life Sciences and Education. The successful candidate will be experienced in working with data analysing it and bringing it to life through visualisation and compelling narratives.

This role will report to the APAC Head of Work Dynamics Research & Strategy in Singapore and be based in Hong Kong.

What this job involves

• At least five to seven years in a similar role within the real estate industry.
• Delivering research content and insight to support JLLs Work Dynamics business and clients with special focus on key industries.
• Experience in using data to find key trends and create compelling narratives for the business clients and the media.
• Connecting and collaborating with the regional teams and broader research teams and colleagues in the Americas and EMEA especially the colleagues focussed on producing research on industry sectors.
• Experience in writing reports about real estate trends and using PowerPoint to create engaging slide decks to tell a coherent story.
• Good presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills with experience dealing with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Ensuring deliverables and themes are aligned with business strategy and wider global research programmes.
• Providing and presenting analysis strategic insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients

Desired skills and experience for this job

• Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related field
• Strong analytical mindset and skills including deep research and or consulting experience.
• Advanced interpersonal writing presentation and communication skills
• An initiative-taker with a proven track record in effectively setting and executing strategy.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Strong collaborator.
