IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Structured Cabling
Location: Hounslow London UK
Contract: Initial 6 months
Rate: INSIDE IR35 Contract (via Umbrella)
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Infrastructure Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex Telco/Cabling infrastructure projects within an Airport environments or similar infrastructure with a strong emphasis on the connectivity and cabling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project management strategies in a high-stakes airport environment.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of optical cabling systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manage contracts effectively with a focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to CDM 2025 regulations and NEC contracts maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation within the project management team.
Experience:
- Previous experience working at an Airport or Rail
- In-depth knowledge of Civil & Infrastructure projects emphasis on structured cabling.
- Familiarity with transport network operations and the integration of advanced technology solutions.
- Experienced in building services i.e retail outlets
- Strong background in supplier management with the ability to negotiate and maintain productive relationships.
- Comprehensive understanding of CDM 2025 regulations contract management
- NEC3/NEC4 Contract Management Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering Project Management or a related field.
- CDM 2015
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years in a senior role.
