**$20000 SIGN ON BONUS for FULL TIME positions for RN candidates with over 1 year of experience. This is paid out in one lump sum in the paycheck after youve been employed by us for 30 days (contingent on meeting the requirements.)**
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing Perioperative nursing care of all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the direct and indirect implementation of the patients plan of care in the PACU. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the director which include but are not limited to serving on committees participating in quality improvement audits and projects. The post anesthesia care (PACU) nurse will display positive support for the values and mission of CHI St. Lukes Health organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level
ADN with one or more years of previous experience in an ICU setting and/or Certified Perianesthesia Nurse (CPAN) preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Experience
One (1) year of experience in the ICU setting required
One (1) year of experience treating open heart procedures required
