Description
The Production Control Specialist at Chappell Supply will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation. You will monitor and manage inventory levels of all types of materials ensuring adequate supplies to meet production demands. Your role involves tracking production progress monitoring flow and avoiding bottlenecks to facilitate timely delivery of quality products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the flow of production activities runs smoothly from planning to completion.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Resolve any issues that may arise during production to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and resource allocation.
- Track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to prevent bottlenecks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to report on production status and challenges.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address and mitigate production-related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities and inventory management for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Proven ability to plan schedule and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Experience in monitoring production schedules and managing inventory
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination across teams
- Proficiency in developing and implementing production schedules
- Ability to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation
- Competence in tracking production progress and monitoring flow to avoid bottlenecks
- Capability to manage inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies to meet production demands
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
