Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

Cyber Engineer will be the task lead for task 2. Cyber Security.
They will provide guidance on penetration testing security architecture and policy and compliance.
Enhancement of the security architecture capabilities and SOPs to assess operations for execution and implementation.
Maintain accountability to endure integrity and confidentiality of the process.
Provide analysis of vulnerabilities.
Review and make recommendations on program-level documentation (e.g. requirements specification system architecture design documents test plans security plans etc.).
Develop and document security evaluation test plan and procedures.
Assist in researching evaluating and developing relevant Information Security policies and guidance.
Actively participate in or lead technical exchange meetings documenting actions items/results of these events.
Brief Leadership as needed on the status of action items and/or results of activities.
Conduct hands-on security testing analyze test results document risk and recommend countermeasures.
Coordinate with other program elements conducting security testing.
Assess/calculate risk based on threats vulnerabilities and shortfalls uncovered in testing.
Identify mitigating countermeasures to identify threats vulnerabilities and shortfalls.
Provide oversight of the design development and implementation of security related support systems.

Requirements:

DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience Cyber Security.
CISSP or similar Cyber Security certification.

Halviks pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
