Entrusts Identity Security Segment is seeking a passionate product marketing professional to take a leadership role within the product segment and across Solutions Marketing. The Solutions Marketing Director defines the messaging positioning and go-to-market strategy working closely with engineering product management corporate marketing channels and field sales organizations to help take Entrust Identity Security to the next level. Key functions of the Solutions Marketing group are to provide voice of customer analysts competitive and market insights direction and content for sales/channel enablement product messaging and positioning launch products and to help define and drive the overall strategic direction and evolution of the portfolio.
Position Overview:
This Identity Security Solutions Marketing Director plays a critical role in growing Entrusts share in the highly competitive Identity Security market. You will be responsible for defining the compelling solution value proposition for key use cases and building messaging that is differentiated clear simple and compelling. As the chief Identity Security storyteller you will serve as a global subject matter expert on the market trends and Entrust products. And as a director you will lead cross-functional initiatives that are critical to growing the Entrust business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Identity market a passion for storytelling experience leading cross-functional teams management experience and an ability to get work done.
Please note this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our London office.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute annual and quarterly product marketing analyst and communication strategies and plans working in partnership with growth and field marketing.
Develop product positioning and the overall story with product management that is both relevant compelling and differentiating in the market
Define and articulate the solution communication strategies positioning unique value proposition and messaging plans for various target use cases audiences and personae
Be the expert on your customers how they buy their buying criteria and how to best reach them; glean deep customer insights that lead to better ROI
Develop accurate timely and industry focused product collateral thought leadership content and sales enablement content including: datasheets website content white papers playbooks and battle cards that bring impactful content to Entrust sales partners and end users. Continuously tweak to optimize effectiveness
Turn strong messaging and positioning platforms highlighting key differentiators into a solid go-to-market strategy that provides the marketing and sales teams with all the necessary tools and tactics needed to attract and convert customers across a global landscape
Coordinate with growth field and channel marketing teams to align marketing initiatives and communication programs. Manage cross-functional implementation of plans through to completion
Research competitor and market activity to keep apprised of tailwinds and headwinds. Enable sales and product teams with market and competitive intelligence
Lead a team of seasoned Solutions Marketing professionals
Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiencies to leverage strategic relationships to improve routes to market and to align messaging and positioning across segments
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of increasing responsibility in product marketing preferably in the Identity Security space and with IDV and/or IAM solutions
Bachelors degree in relevant field
3 years of previous leadership experience
Experience in managing or working on global marketing campaigns
Excellent verbal communication presentation and writing proficiency are mandatory
Deep understanding and familiarity with channels
Ability to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the Identity Security space and with IDV and/or IAM solutions
Masters degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms to drive data-driven strategies and competitive intelligence and market research.
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships within the Identity Security industry
