Job Description
The Buyer is responsible for meeting demand requirements by ordering the right quantity of stock in a timely efficient and cost-effective manner ensuring healthy inventory levels. This role involves forecasting monitoring brand performance managing SKUs and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support the companys commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare demand forecasts and ensure timely procurement of SKUs to meet sales requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate brand performance across showrooms.
- Classify SKUs based on sales trends and control warehouse inventory levels.
- Launch promotions and introduce new arrivals in coordination with the E-commerce and Marketing teams through social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team on new product designs and showroom floor plans.
- Prepare brand performance reports and present findings to top management.
- Estimate the annual purchasing budget for international brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration.
- Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
