Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven CoE Leadto head ourCOO Office a key Centre of Expertise supporting the COO Domain. This role is central to ensuring operational excellence and financial integrity across the banks operations while also driving value through effective end-to-end provider management.

You will lead two Expert Teams (COO Finance & Reconciliationand Sourcing & Provider Management) and play a pivotal role in shaping the COO domains transformation journey ensuring it is efficient scalable and future-ready. A strong affinity with emerging technologies including(Gen) AI automation and data analytics will be essential to reimagine and elevate operational performance.

Next to this you will lead the implementation of a new virtual team that coordinates all bank activities in relation to sourcing management.

Your key responsibilities:

As the COO Office CoE Lead you will:

• Define and Drive Strategy: Set the strategic direction of the CoE aligning financial and provider management priorities with the broader bank and COO strategy priorities and roadmap.
• Ensure Financial Excellence: Oversee budgeting accounting reconciliation and financial reporting processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. SOX Securities Accruals) and drive cost efficiency and transparency.
• Lead Provider Management: Define and execute the provider strategy ensuring robust governance performance monitoring and continuous improvement of third-party services.
• Champion Innovation and Technology: Leverage new technologies including (Gen)AI Machine Learning or other automation techniques to streamline operations enhance decision-making and unlock future-proof efficient solutions.
• Deliver Operational Control: Manage end-to-end financial and provider-related processes ensuring risk mitigation process optimization and alignment with INGs risk appetite.
• Support Strategic Projects: Contribute to cross-functional initiatives ensuring delivery of financial and operational requirements and supporting key milestones.
• Inspire and Develop Talent: Lead and grow a high-performing team of experts. Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous learning.
• Engage with Senior Stakeholders: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making at local and global level.

What are we looking for

Were looking for a strategic leader with a passion for innovation as well as a strong operational and financial background. If the following describes you wed love to hear from you:

• 10 years of experience in finance operations or provider management ideally in a leadership role within a complex international environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire develop and empower multidisciplinary teams.
• Affinity with new technologies including GenAI automation and digital tools to drive transformation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels (both local and global).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to translate data into actionable insights.
• Autonomous proactive and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
• High energy curiosity and a collaborative spirit.
• Strong academic background (Masters degree preferred) in Finance Business or related fields.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades claves

ComoCOO Office CoE Lead tus principales responsabilidades sern:

• Definir e impulsar la estrategia: Establecer la direccin estratgica del CoE alineando las prioridades financieras y de gestin de proveedores con la estrategia global del banco y del rea COO.
• Garantizar la excelencia financiera: Supervisar los procesos de presupuestacin contabilidad conciliacin e informes financieros. Asegurar el cumplimiento normativo (SOX valores devengos) y fomentar la eficiencia y transparencia en costes.
• Liderar la gestin de proveedores: Definir y ejecutar la estrategia de proveedores asegurando una gobernanza slida seguimiento del rendimiento y mejora continua de los servicios externos.
• Impulsar la innovacin y la tecnologa: Aplicar tecnologas como GenAI Machine Learning y otras tcnicas de automatizacin para optimizar operaciones mejorar la toma de decisiones y desarrollar soluciones eficientes y sostenibles.
• Asegurar el control operativo: Gestionar procesos financieros y de proveedores de extremo a extremo mitigando riesgos y alineando con el apetito de riesgo de ING.
• Apoyar proyectos estratgicos: Contribuir a iniciativas transversales asegurando el cumplimiento de requisitos financieros y operativos y apoyando hitos clave.
• Inspirar y desarrollar talento: Liderar y potenciar un equipo de alto rendimiento fomentando una cultura de colaboracin innovacin y aprendizaje continuo.
• Relacionarte con personas clave: Ser referente para la alta direccin aportando insights y recomendaciones que faciliten la toma de decisiones estratgicas a nivel local y global.

Qu buscamos

• Ms de 10 aos de experiencia en finanzas operaciones o gestin de proveedores idealmente en entornos internacionales complejos.
