Responsibilities:
Collects analyzes and interprets trauma-related clinical and operational data (e.g. patient outcomes case volumes injury types).
Prepares statistical reports and dashboards to support quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
Assists in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trauma care (e.g. response times length of stay readmission rates).
Supports the trauma programs efforts in achieving and maintaining ACS (American College of Surgeons) verification.
Compiles detailed reports for internal leadership external regulatory bodies and accreditation reviews.
Prepares presentations and visualizations to communicate findings to clinicians administrators and stakeholders.
Collaborates with trauma registrars to ensure data accuracy and timely submission to national databases.
Monitors compliance with hospital policies and trauma program standards.
Assists with project management tasks for trauma-related initiatives including workflow optimization and new process implementation.
Analyzes outcomes and make recommendations to improve efficiency and patient care.
Provides administrative support to the Trauma Medical Director program managers and clinical teams.
Schedules meetings maintain documentation and assist with budgeting purchasing and inventory as needed.
May perform other duties as assigned.
