Job Summary:
The Salon Staff is a member of the spa team and responsible for success of the Spas hair cutting styling and treatments.
Day-to-Day:
- To build relationships with Members & their guests.
- To assist the merchandising and marketing of the day spa to both club Members and the public at large.
- Attend regular meetings and education sessions for the employee partners.
- To assist in developing the spa services menu including the development of the specific services and the education of the employee partners in performing those services.
- To assist in the financial success of the spa department through correct pricing of services.
- To assist in the marketing and merchandising of the spa to both club Members and the public at large including development of appropriate marketing brochures media material gift certificates etc.
- To assist the sales efforts of the spa so as to ensure that the spa meets its revenue and sales targets.
- To meet regularly with the athletic director to make sure there is complete cooperation between departments in the club and to ensure that there is regular communication to other employee partners in the club regarding the spas services and operation.
About You:
- Minimum of one years experience in the spa massage or cosmetology environment.
- Degree from accredited beauty school or cosmetology school.
- College degree in related field preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
