This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period this appointment may at the option of ADB be extended once for up to 2 years converted to a regular appointment or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staffs particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staffs performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.

The position of Senior Private Sector Development Unit (CWPS) within the Central and West Asia Department (CWRD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila Philippines and may be assigned in one of our Resident Missions in the Central and West Asia Region and relocation is required. All reasonable relocation expenses will be covered.
You will report to the Regional Head CWPS and will oversee Junior team members.
As a Senior Private Sector Development Specialist you will lead ADBs work in the Central and West Asia Region to support ADBs private capital mobilization goals. This includes identifying developing implementing and managing private sector projects across upstream midstream and downstream development in close collaboration with governments development partners and the private sector.
You must have extensive expertise in private sector advisories and investments demonstrate broad experience and work independently across varied assignments while closely collaborating with the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD) and the Office of Market Development and Public Private Partnerships (OMDP).
