Job Description

Position Title: Traffic Coordinator
Compensation:$40000-$43000
FSLA/Position Type:Exempt (Full time)
Reports to:Ally Caldwell Resource Manager
Position Description:
This is a hybrid position located in Lansing MI.
Gd Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented organized and deadline-driven Traffic Coordinator (TC) with one to three years of experience in marketing advertising or communications or in a role for another field that closely mimics the duties of the TC. This role handles the day-to-day responsibilities of the agencys deliverables trafficking process across multiple platforms. Working closely with our creative/development and media/activation teams the TC is responsible for delivering final files to media vendors (paid and owned) maintaining an archive (filing) all deliverables for all clients and supporting tracking of the progress and timelines of deliverables in the agency.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Deliver/traffic final files to media vendors and provide direction for deliverables by placement
  • Coordinate and share trafficking instructions with Digital Specialists and other applicable teammates
  • Serve as a liaison between media vendors and internal producers producing and managing the deliverables.
  • Coordinate the routing of vendor-created deliverables to internal teams and communicate edits to vendors
  • Maintain a digital archive of all final deliverables/files for all clients
  • Confirm media placements are live and delivering with proof-of-performance
  • Collaborate with all internal teams client services project management creative development and implementation teams
  • Track the progress timelines and deadlines of deliverables in the agency (in conjunction with the Resource Manager)
  • Work with the Resource Manager and applicable producers to problem solve when deadlines are in jeopardy
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by the Resource Manager
  • Work within the operating systems and processes of the agency

Essential Skills Necessary:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills for vendor and team coordination.
  • Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)
  • Deadline driven
  • Responsive and collaborative
  • Thorough record keeping abilities
  • Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and mediums/tactics preferred
Education & Professional Experience:
  • One to three years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred
