The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our team located in Everett Washington!
This position is seeking a Customer Quality lead responsible for supporting Quality Management (QMS) Integration across the enterprise within the Mobility and Surveillance organization directly supporting the KC-46 program in Everett Washington.
This is an on-site position primarily supporting 1st shift operations and selected candidate will require the ability to work in variable shifts which include working days nights weekends and/or holiday depending on business conditions.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations.
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.
Manages develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 year of experience working as a quality inspector in an aerospace environment
2 years of experience working on live aircraft in a flight line environment
5 years of experience working on Boeing aircraft
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Material Review Board Designee
Experience supporting the release of aircraft for flight
Experience managing IAM hourly and/or SPEEA represented employees.
Strong knowledge of Boeing production systems and processes
Experience with any of the following: avionics troubleshooting capabilities functional test knowledge manufacturing and/or structures
FAA A&P license or Repairmans certificate knowledge of FAA regulations
