Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Snowflake dbt (data build tool) Architect to help clients design and implement modern data platforms from the ground up. This role is both hands-on and client-facing: you will lead discovery sessions translate business needs into architecture and implement scalable solutions in Snowflake and dbt.

What You Will Do & Bring

  • Work directly with clients to understand business and technical requirements.

  • Design and document end-to-end Snowflake architectures including account structure data zones security governance and cost optimization.

  • Define dbt (data build tool) project standards (naming conventions testing CI/CD) and lead the setup of modular testable pipelines.

  • Apply strong SQL and ELT expertise to design dimensional models (star/snowflake schemas) and performance-optimized transformations.

  • Establish security models (RBAC RLS CLS) aligned with governance and compliance needs.

  • Guide BI integration strategies (Power BI) including curated data models and semantic layers.

  • Provide technical leadership and best practices to client teams ensuring adoption and scalability.

  • Leverage experience with DevOps version control and data quality frameworks to ensure robust delivery.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Snowflake features like Snowpipe Tasks or third-party tool integrations.

  • Knowledge of enterprise data catalogs lineage tools or governance platforms.
