Screw Machine Operators (Acme Brown and Sharpe Davenport)

Fruita CO
7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

SUMMARY:

Responsible for proper set-up operation and maintenance of the machines. The operator is responsible for producing parts to print at specified production rates.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Machine lubrication machine start-up and shut down procedures
Machine set-up and operation.
Quality and production rates.
Recording daily production.
Machine maintenance and repair.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.
Machine department and shop house keeping.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Layout reading and ability to set-up machines.
Solid mechanical aptitude and machining knowledge.
Experience with Acme Brown and Sharpe or Davenport automatics helpful.
Ability to communicate with others.
