Overview
Salary $75000 year
The Program Team Manager will oversee WIOA program implementation ensuring compliance staff development and effective service delivery to support jobseekers in securing sustainable employment. This position will provide leadership and direction to team members and provide excellent customer service to internal and external participants.
Responsibilities
- Ensure assigned team and program resources are being utilized appropriately
- Establish professional working relationships with partners and community organizations
- Maintain accurate participant tracking information
- Attend required meetings and apprise team of discussions held at these meetings
- Address human resource and team concerns
- Provide positive vision for required changes during program operation
- Utilize positive communication techniques to resolve issues
- Communicate with team members to incorporate appropriate concepts/suggestions
- Analyze and understand labor market information
- Report directly to Area Manager and communicate performance success and challenges during weekly check-ins
- Manage relationships with community partners and services providers
- Ensure team member compliance with contract goals and WIOA regulations and guidelines
- Conduct performance reviews and appraisals for team members and provide feedback and guidance
- Monitor team performance and report outcomes
- Other opportunities as available
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and 510 years of relevant leadership experience
- Skills and experience in providing career and workforce development assistance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must have notable experience in a team-oriented environment
- Able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and other required locations
- A valid drivers license & clean driving record required
