Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 or 3
Salary: Up to 26000
Our client provides a welcoming homely environment for children aged six weeks to five years where their growth and development are at the forefront. Offering a variety of stimulating indoor and outdoor activities the nursery encourages exploration play and learning. They have been rated Good by Ofsted.
As a Nursery Practitioner you will be key in supporting the educational and personal development of the children in your care. Working alongside a dedicated passionate team youll help create a positive supportive and engaging atmosphere that fosters each childs growth and well-being.
Qualifications
- Recognised Qualification: Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or above
- Dedication and Expertise: Demonstrate a proven track record of dedication expertise and passion for early years education as a Nursery Practitioner.
- In-depth Familiarity: Showcase in-depth familiarity with child development early years education principles and best practices informed by the latest research and industry standards.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills fostering strong nurturing relationships with children adults and effectively engaging with parents and caregivers.
- Collaborative Approach: Embrace a collaborative approach as a strong team player contributing to a positive inclusive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
- Create a Secure and Engaging Environment: Develop and maintain a secure and engaging environment for young children encouraging curiosity and facilitating exploration.
- Age-Appropriate Activity Development: Design and implement age-appropriate activities that nurture childrens social emotional physical and cognitive development tailored to their individual needs and interests.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess and monitor each childs progress maintaining open and effective communication with parents and caregivers to offer comprehensive feedback and support.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to cultivate a positive environment for both children and colleagues championing a culture of respect compassion and teamwork.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure adherence to nursery policies procedures and regulatory standards prioritizing the welfare and advancement of children.
