Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill Health and Safety Coordinator position for a client located near Hillsboro Oregon who specializes in food production.
DETAILS:
Day shift
Direct Hire
Monday Friday
8:30am - 5:00pm
$56160-$72800/year to start
Previous experience in a Food Processing environment is preferred.
Job Responsibility forEHS Coordinator:
Conduct worksite audits to identify potential risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
Promote safety awareness through training seminars and informational materials.
Stay current with regulatory changes and update work instructions as needed.
Investigate workplace accidents and complaints.
Assist with emergency response plans.
Inspect work areas for safety hazards and risks.
Lead the safety committee.
Train employees and temporary employees for forklift operations.
File OSHA reports in a timely.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
