The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Procurement Agents to join our Parts and Assemblies Contracts team in Auburn WA.
As a procurement agent you will provide contracting knowledge negotiate and carry out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators and negotiating cost recoveries engineering changes and contract this role you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.
Our team is currently hiring Mid-Level (Level 3) Procurement Agents.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Negotiate interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.
- Provide oversight and contract management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance.
- Integrate program customer product and in-service strategies into negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities inclusive of Value Engineering and integrate results into contracting strategies.
- Proactively communicate with the leadership team peers and customers. This may include the preparation and presentation of the business vision supplier strategies program/project status etc.
- Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers stakeholders and peers.
- Conducts risk issues and opportunities management.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 3 years of experience developing proposals or contracts
- 3 years of experience in Sourcing Procurement and/or Supplier Management
- 3 years of experience drafting negotiating and executing highly complex contracts and subcontracts
- 3 years of experience using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelors degree
- 3 years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
- 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions
