The Gaming Auditor will conduct gaming revenue tax and compliance audits enforce rules and regulations of the South Dakota Commission on Gaming and participate in evaluations of Casinos business practices through onsite observation programs. We offer a competitive salary paid vacations paid holidays and paid sick leave. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum of high school diploma / GED is required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Gaming accounting and / or auditing experience. Experience working in collaborative team environments and demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail. Equally important will be strong work ethic integrity interpersonal skills discretion confidentiality and a positive attitude.
Knowledge of:
the gaming industry;
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
Skills:
effective written and verbal communication techniques;
Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to:
understand interpret state laws rules and regulations as they apply to South Dakota gaming activities;
communicate clearly and present information effectively and in a logical sequence;
establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers other agencies and the public;

solve problems.
