Our client a national healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer to support its inpatient-coding audit and training initiatives.
This role combines coding precision clinical expertise and the ability to teach and mentor. The right candidate will develop audit tools deliver training and ensure compliance standards are met across a multi-state managed-care operation.
What Youll Do
Develop and maintain inpatient-coding audit processes and training materials.
Conduct coding education and compliance training for new and existing staff.
Audit inpatient records and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve coding errors.
Evaluate the effectiveness of audit and training programs.
Participate in limited travel (approx. 10% annually).
Qualifications :
What Youll Need
Active RN license CPC CIC or CCS certification.
Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience).
4 years of nursing auditing or training experience in managed care.
Proven ability to present coach and write effectively.
Prior inpatient-coding audit experience strongly preferred.
