Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in the development of TEMPEST Test Plans and Reports
- Perform VTI inspections as a member of a team or independently.
- Perform ITS inspections under the direction of a certified engineer (CTP II).
- Document TEMPEST survey and inspection activities utilizing visual and specialized instrumental methods at US Coast Guard units.
- Develop specialized test equipment to facilitate TEMPEST testing.
- Provide TEMPEST documentation support in laboratory and field environments.
- Assist in identifying and acquiring TEMPEST information needed in the development of test plans.
- Assist with development of contingency plans and risk management options.
- Manage and moderate bi-weekly TEMPEST Status teleconferences with USCG representatives
- Maintain calibration and inventory of TEMPEST Test Equipment
- Manages and properly store classified TEMPEST-related database
- Update and maintain documentation as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in related technical discipline.
- Top Secret clearance
- Requires a high degree of creative ability innovative analysis approaches engineering skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Strong communications skills both oral and written.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent w/ 5 Years Direct Relevant Experience
- Proficiency using MS Word Excel Adobe and Outlook.
- Strong verbal written interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills to directly support exercise specific applications.
- Strong time management and be eager to start and finish new tasks.
- Current Microsoft OS Certification.
Location: This is a full-time remote position with 60% travel.
SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data internal equity and the candidates related knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
