Job Summary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the development of TEMPEST Test Plans and Reports
  • Perform VTI inspections as a member of a team or independently.
  • Perform ITS inspections under the direction of a certified engineer (CTP II).
  • Document TEMPEST survey and inspection activities utilizing visual and specialized instrumental methods at US Coast Guard units.
  • Develop specialized test equipment to facilitate TEMPEST testing.
  • Provide TEMPEST documentation support in laboratory and field environments.
  • Assist in identifying and acquiring TEMPEST information needed in the development of test plans.
  • Assist with development of contingency plans and risk management options.
  • Manage and moderate bi-weekly TEMPEST Status teleconferences with USCG representatives
  • Maintain calibration and inventory of TEMPEST Test Equipment
  • Manages and properly store classified TEMPEST-related database
  • Update and maintain documentation as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in related technical discipline.
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Requires a high degree of creative ability innovative analysis approaches engineering skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Strong communications skills both oral and written.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent w/ 5 Years Direct Relevant Experience
  • Proficiency using MS Word Excel Adobe and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal written interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills to directly support exercise specific applications.
  • Strong time management and be eager to start and finish new tasks.
  • Current Microsoft OS Certification.

Location: This is a full-time remote position with 60% travel.

SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data internal equity and the candidates related knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
