We are seeking a charismatic motivating and knowledgeable part-time Personal Trainer to help our members achieve their fitness goals at the Gypsum Recreation Center. The ideal candidate will support each clients individual needs by offering form correction and exercise modifications to ensure safety and promote growth. POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Personal Trainer
Location: Gypsum Recreation Center (Gypsum CO)
Schedule: Part-Time; Year-Round
Work Environment: Work schedule is varied and requires weekday hours evenings weekends and holidays. Work schedule requires constant attendance for short shifts. The flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention. Physical exertion includes frequent walking bending and lifting pulling and kneeling. Work is done in a performance type setting and can be physically demanding. Position requires constant use of voice. Job stress may include dealing with crowds uncooperative participants difficult individuals and periods of continuous demand.
Supervision Required: Works under the direct supervision of the Facility Coordinator
Supervision Exercised: None
Salary: $27.00/hour; staff in this position are eligible for a $1/hour incentive for Spanish/English bilingual and can pass the language competency test.
