Ability to write routine reports and to manage multiple to pass various pre-employment background to promote and follow Board of Education policies building and department Licenses Registrations:American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Certification required within three months of Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) Certified Athletic Duties and Responsibilities:1. Maintain communications by:a. Meeting with supervisor and/or District staff e.g. District needs.b. Being accessible via District communication devices.c. Acting as a liaison between medical professionals athletic staff and parents.2. Provide athletic training services to student athletes by:a. Ensuring services offered are within appropriate medical certifications.b. Promoting safe and appropriate practices for competition.c. Determining a students readiness to participate in athletics.d. Assisting with strength and conditioning.e. Facilitating rehabilitation and reconditioning e.g. whirlpool treatments hot/cold packs.f. Offering preventative care e.g. taping icing wrapping.g. Organizing and delivering medical supplies to athletic events.h. Attending athletic events to monitor and address injuries as needed. 3. Provide services to the District by:a. Ordering tracking and stocking supplies and materials.b. Guiding Physical Education teachers with strengthening and conditioning of students.c. Advising on the selection fit function and maintenance of athletic equipment.d. Providing for on-site recognition evaluation and immediate treatment of illnesses and injuries.e. Performing other tasks as assigned. 4.
