Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting our client Riverstone Group in the search for a Senior Investment Analyst. This position is based in Richmond Virginia and is full-time onsite at their offices downtown.

Position Overview
The Senior Investment Analyst will play a key role in supporting the management analysis and reporting of the familys investment portfolios. This position combines detailed analytical work with big-picture strategic thinking and offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to an investment platform built on trust performance and generational continuity. The ideal candidate is highly analytical organized and discreet with strong judgment and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Analysis & Monitoring
- Track performance and risk metrics across hedge funds private equity commitments and direct investments.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio reviews cash flow projections and performance dashboards.
- Maintain investment databases capital calls distribution schedules and NAV updates.
Due Diligence & Research
- Conduct fundamental and qualitative analysis on new investment opportunities.
- Prepare internal investment memos summarizing thesis risks and alignment with family objectives.
- Monitor market trends fund manager updates and macroeconomic indicators that impact the portfolios.
Reporting & Communication
- Support communication with investment managers custodians and advisors.
- Create reports and insights for family principals leadership and trustees.
- Ensure consistent documentation and data integrity across all portfolios.
Operational Support
- Coordinate with accounting and legal teams for capital calls audits and compliance needs.
- Experience with technology tools used for investment tracking and reporting (e.g. Addepar Excel or CRM platforms).
- Assist with annual planning processes and strategic investment reviews.
Qualifications
- 58 years of experience in investment analysis family office private equity endowment or institutional asset management.
- Strong understanding of alternative investments fund structures and portfolio construction.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with investment platforms a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail organizational skills and judgment.
- Integrity discretion and ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Bachelors degree in finance economics or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
