Position Summary:
Overallleadership direction and responsibility for the day to day operations ofthis Residential Care Community and Independent Living Cooperative utilizingthe Mission Statement and Values to guide all decision making. Success rests onachieving goals in four key areas known as the Key Attributes for important to note that the goals are interdependent and are equal in theirimportance oneto-the-other so while they appear in list format they are infact equivalent and balanced in their impact on goal attainment.
The Residential Services Administrator will lead incollaboration with the company Chief Operating Officer effective strategies tomeet or exceed facility goals in the four areas listed below:
- Market Share
- Customer and Employee Satisfaction
- Quality and Compliance
- Profitability
Inpursuit of these goals the administrator oversees all aspects of resident lifeincluding satisfaction health status safety security and rights. To promoteand ensure the highest quality care and quality of life to the residents weserve the administrator will direct and manage the daily operations inaccordance with applicable state and local standards guidelines andregulations as directed by the organization to assure that First Atlanticproperties operate effectively and efficiently. The administrator is expectedto role model behavior in keeping with our mission and values. Evidence ofeffective role modeling includes active participation in activities town hallmeetings and with our residential care and independent living customers in waysthat demonstrate our concern for their well-being compassion for theirchallenges timely meeting of expectations and dedication to their lifequality.
- Current/active state Residential Care Administrator license (Assisted Living / Residential Care) or Multi-level Administrator license
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to demonstrate self-discipline and patience.
- Strong customer service skills with marketing and sales experience preferred
- Experience managing independent housing cooperatives preferred
- Genuine caring for and interest in working seniors.
- Experience with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements for senior housing environments preferred.
- Comply with the Residents Rights State of Maine Residential Care regulations and Facility Policies and Procedures.
- Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements.
- Perform Essential Duties as outlined above.
