Job Summary
Dow Jones is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead mobile platform delivery and cross-cutting initiatives within its Ad Platforms Integrations & Privacy team. This role drives commercial monetization strategies across Dow Jones consumer brands including The Wall Street Journal MarketWatch Barrons and Investors Business Daily with a focus on managing delivery across iOS and Android apps. This function plays a pivotal role in enabling platform modernization privacy compliance and advertising revenue growth in mobile environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep mobile product and engineering fluency strong program execution capabilities and the ability to lead delivery across multiple business priorities including Core Platform Audience Enablement and Privacy Compliance. The successful candidate will help drive delivery on both high-impact brand initiatives and shared frameworks that span across teams business units and surface types.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Platform Delivery Leadership
- Serve as TPM for mobile advertising delivery systems and platform modernization initiatives across all Dow Jones consumer brands.
- Collaborate with engineering design and privacy teams to implement shared mobile SDKs consent frameworks and ad configuration tools.
- Manage dependencies and integration timelines between mobile apps and backend platforms.
- Lead mobile ad platform monetization efforts as part of broader brand redesigns ensuring performant ad delivery viewability standards and optimal user experience across native apps.
Cross-Program Coordination
- Coordinate engineering teams and stakeholders across Core Audience and Privacy programs.
- Align mobile-specific implementation needs with broader roadmap goals across functions.
- Track cross-stream dependencies mobile-specific QA requirements and integration timelines.
- Drive cross-brand implementation of audience addressability enhancements ensuring mobile delivery systems align with evolving identity and segmentation strategies.
Product and Technical Leadership
- Translate strategic goals into mobile-specific execution plans that account for user experience ad performance and privacy compliance.
- Work closely with engineers to design and deliver systems that operate efficiently within native mobile constraints.
- Champion best practices in mobile ad rendering SDK usage and performance optimization.
- Facilitate Agile rituals across mobile platform teams; lead planning delivery and reporting cycles.
- Serve as the central point of coordination across multiple parallel mobile app initiatives.
- Proactively manage risk stakeholder communications and mobile-specific rollout plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in product management and/or technical program management with a focus on mobile platforms.
- Expertise in iOS and Android application development SDK integration and mobile ad rendering.
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery spanning privacy ad tech and user experience teams.
- Familiarity with ad servers mobile consent frameworks and platform-specific limitations and policies (e.g. ATT GPP SDK-based targeting).
- Strong communication skills and experience working with senior technical and business leaders.
