Job Summary

AVANGRID an innovative and growing energy company needs a creative and ambitious college student to join our Corporate Communications team. You will take part in an Internship program to learn our business inside and out. If you are looking to broaden your skill sets and learn more about careers in energy apply today.

As part of our program you will be part of a team that works every day to promote protect and enhance AVANGRIDs reputation with all stakeholders internally and externally. Our team is made up of professionals who are responsible for issues management media relations brand building crisis communications employee communications and engagement change communications social media management Corporate Social Responsibility philanthropy and communications measurement and analysis. The ideal candidate has an interest in communications marketing or journalism. We spend a lot of time thinking about the written and spoken word so you also are a good writer who enjoys storytelling that engages audiences.

  • Join and learn from a team of communications professionals working in a fast-paced environment. Our company is growing and changing fast and our team manages multiple priorities with a view across the entire business.
  • Opportunity to work in different areas across communications and brand functions.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Currently a sophomore junior pursuing aBachelors or first year in Master/MBA Degree.
  • Experience/interest in journalism marketing communications or public relations
  • One or more summers remaining prior to the completion of an undergraduate or masters degree
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorship
