Job Description

This is a fulltime 3-year contract position.

PAE is embarking on a significant digital transformation and we are seeking a forward-thinking IT Project Officer to help lead this exciting this pivotal role you will manage the delivery of technology projects that align with our strategic vision driving innovation and operational excellence across the organization. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams engage stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and on budget

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Develop project plans using PAEs project framework including defining project scope objectives deliverables and timelines at a level commensurate with the size and complexity of the project.
  • Coordinate with the Team Leader IT Projects to allocate necessary resources.
  • Control and manage the delivery of small to moderately complex IT projects (such as device roll outs etc.) including setting priorities and executing the delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide regular budget v actual reporting.
  • Track and report on the status of tasks coordinating deadlines and ensuring that no task is overlooked.
  • Coordinate and supervise the procurement of project deliverables.
  • Provide supervision and support to consultants and / or contractors as required.
  • Manage project risks and the resolution of issues.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience delivering IT projects
  • Experience in IT Operations & Infrastructure
  • Customer & Stakeholder engagement and support experience
  • Experience creating and maintaining project documentation
  • Formal qualifications in Project Management are desirable.

This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary range of $103808.31 - $108496.22 (plus Super).
