JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the management of the divisions US Brain Therapies Marketing function including establishing and developing the divisions marketing objectives policies and programs.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and coordinate Marketing activities toward accomplishment of business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with US Brain Therapies Sales Division to determine business plans and priorities.
  • Develop Divisional strategic and operating plan.
  • Drive and oversee global communications strategies and execution inclusive of launches advertising and social media campaigns.
  • Establish Marketing project priorities and allocate resources and workload.
  • Ensure appropriate training and education is provided to those personnel that are involved in the use of the Abbott Brand for the EP portfolio.
  • Liaison with other departments (e.g. Quality R&D Legal Operations Marketing and Clinical Affairs) for division-wide initiatives.
  • Supervise and develop staff.
  • Prepare and manage annual department budget.
  • Hires and retains a diverse highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback.
  • Sets goals which align to department plans and manages the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring. Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations other regulatory requirements Company policies operating procedures processes and task assignments.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees customers contractors and vendors.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors Degree ( 16 years) in marketing preferred; an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience/Background: Minimum 10 yearsrelated work experience.
  • Extensive experience with strategic marketing.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
  • Professional Marketing Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multi-tasks prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

The base pay for this position is

$147300.00 $294700.00

In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
