TITTLE: IT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: ATLANTA GA (ONSITE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead plan and execute complex infrastructure-related initiatives spanning telecommunications network/network security server cloud and wireless. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and excellent project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects (on-prem cloud hybrid environments).
Coordinate across cross-functional teams including engineers system admins vendors and business stakeholders.
Define project business requirements scope goals timelines resource needs risks and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines budgets and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain project documentation (plans RAID logs reports post-mortems).
Identify and mitigate risks and manage issues as they arise.
Clearly communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders through reports and meetings.
Ensure infrastructure deployments meet compliance security and performance requirements.
Work closely with procurement and vendors for sourcing and delivery of infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field.
5 years of experience in IT project management with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of infrastructure domains: networks servers storage virtualization cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and data centers.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Jira Asana Smartsheet).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Extensive experience managing network server and telecommunications related projects.
Excellent organizational communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
