The Role
Participate in new business sales and in Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Ensure exceptional service delivery aligned with corporate standards and client expectations.
Be the strategic Motor Fleet and Motor Traders technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to the retention of the WTW client base by challenging the status quo and providing superior Motor Fleet insurance solutions.
Participate in internal strategy and pre-renewal meetings to strategize on the renewal of the insurance portfolio.
Analyze claims data and engage with risk finance analysts as necessary and provide recommendations on structure aggregate excess level stop loss limits and deductibles.
Prepare and ensure accuracy of quote slips.
Negotiate with Insurers as necessary to ensure optimal coverage and terms.
Analyze the market quotes received and prepare a comparison and where required present renewal terms to clients with well-thought-out recommendations.
Ensure compliance with WTW standards & procedures and external compliance regulations.
Bind cover with the markets once client firm order is received.
Ensure that the invoices are captured correctly on E-Global and premiums are collected timeously.
Collect / issue policy documents and submit to clients within 30 days of inception / renewal.
Contribute to process improvements and effective utilization of IT systems.
Monitor claims and assist claims handler with contentious or repudiated claims.
Mentor and train junior staff.
Ensure compliance with WTW standards & procedures and external compliance regulations.
Must practice WTW Values i.e. Integrity Respect Excellence and Teamwork.
The Requirements
Minimum 710 years as a Motor Fleet insurance broking or as a Motor Fleet insurance underwriter.
FAIS compliant: RE5 as well as 120 credits at NQF level 5 (or relevant degree).and be up to date with CPD hours.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Proven experience managing insurance for large motor fleets.
Demonstrate the ability to explain motor fleet insurance structures wordings calculations and claims processes.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Critical thinking skills.
Excellent negotiation analytical and communication skills.
A focus on customer service and key deliverables is essential.
Be detail orientated strong with time management and organizational skills.
