We are looking for an experienced C&E sales Executive for 7 month fixed term maternity cover. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience. To be successful in this role you will have:
Ability to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
Previous sales experience preferably in the hotel or leisure sector
Knowledge of budgeting or cost-management
Innovative in the delivery of Sales initiatives
Proven organisational and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure at all times
Willing to work irregular hours and over weekends
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service both internally and externally

What will I be doing
In your new role as Conference & Events Sales Executive you will represent Hilton in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts. You will consistently strive to maximise revenue in rooms public space food and beverage and ancillary products and services. More specifically you will:
To conduct and champion increased demand and overall revenue
To conduct post follow up meetings and calls for feedback
Ensure all reports are produced as requested by Management
Creating accurate and clear proposal and contracts in accordance with brand and property standards
Regularly update and maintain accurate account and contact information in the Delphi computer system
Develop targeted accounts/PCOs/Event Planners
Making face to face sales calls out the hotel in local and remote markets
Conducting Site Inspections of the hotel with potential clients
Attend weekly sales meeting and other meetings as required
Attend industry related functions trade shows and hotel related events
Carry out constructive handovers between the client and Events operations team
Assist in the training and development of new team members and event coordinators
Track the revenue development of accommodation and catering and implement tactics to boost revenue
Display well-developed financial analysis and yield skills to ensure optimum revenue for available accommodation and function rooms
Collate market intelligence
