Job Description

Contract Electro-Mechanical Assembler Herefordshire

Contract Details:

  • Location: On-site in Herefordshire

  • Duration: 3 months (contract)

  • Rate: 24.50 per hour

  • IR35: Outside IR35 operate via your own PSC or umbrella

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:00pm

Overview:
Were seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join an established engineering organisation on a contract basis. The role involves the assembly of sub-assemblies power amplifiers and full systems with a strong emphasis on accuracy quality and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble power amplifiers sub-assemblies and systems from build documents and technical drawings

  • Ensure all work meets required quality standards

  • Work to daily and weekly production targets

  • Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy records of completed work

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly of complex electronic systems

  • Current IPC 610 soldering certification

  • Strong rework skills (additional qualifications desirable)

  • PCB assembly and rework experience (IPC 620 knowledge a plus)

  • Computer literate with high attention to detail

  • Must be eligible for BPSS clearance and from a NATO country
