The County of San Diego seeks a dynamic visionary and collaborative leader to serve as its next Director of the Office of Emergency Services (OES). This executive position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding one of the largest and most diverse counties in the nation leading a $12.3 million department with 43 dedicated staff committed to the safety resilience and preparedness of the regions more than 3.3 million residents. Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Public Safety the Director will oversee all aspects of emergency management including planning prevention mitigation preparedness response and recovery while serving as a trusted advisor to County leadership elected officials and community stakeholders.
