Job Summary

Job Title:Theater Department Assistant
Department:College of Arts and Sciences
Student Employment Type:Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:
  • Support theater production rehearsals including setup and breakdown of space
  • Send email communications to theater students related to productions
  • Create new ideas for social media and website content
  • Visit department sponsored events on campus to take pictures to share on social media.
  • Ensure all content adheres to branding guidelines as set forth by the University
  • Provide administrative support to Director as needed
Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Outlook and major social media platforms
  • Prior experience in theater arts or related field preferred
Hours of Position:
  • Up to 15 hours per week by arrangement with Director.
  • Schedule may vary based on rehearsal and production schedules.
