At Manning Mental Health Service youll be part of a collaborative and supportive team delivering acute outpatient care across the Lower Mid North Coast. We provide timely consultation assessment treatment and follow-up support to adults and their families with a strong focus on recovery and continuity of care. Our service plays a key role in helping consumers transition from hospital to home offering medication monitoring psychoeducation relapse prevention and coordinated support with local services. As part of the Acute Care Team youll work across a dynamic 7-day rotating rosterwhere every day brings meaningful impact.

About you:
Were looking for a passionate and motivated Mental Health Professional who brings both clinical expertise and a collaborative spirit to our team. Youll be someone who values person-centred care and is committed to supporting consumers and their families through their mental health recovery journey. Your ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team combined with strong interpersonal skills and a trauma-informed approach will be essential in providing high-quality care thats both compassionate and effective.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of contemporary mental health service delivery including intake shared care models and family-inclusive practice. Youll be confident in navigating complex situations building positive therapeutic relationships and communicating effectively with a range of return youll be supported by experienced senior leaders our Manning Service Manager and a dedicated team who are all committed to professional growth collaboration and delivering outstanding care to the community.

Youll be welcomed with a comprehensive Mental Health Service Orientation and ongoing in-service support to help you thrive in your role. Were committed to your professional growth offering encouragement and opportunities to participate in both in-house and external training relevant to your area of practice.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy Psychology Nursing Social Work which provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate and the willingness to travel in the course of employment.
