Role Summary

This strategic leadership role is responsible for designing and executing a scalable Finance Shared Services model across hotel operations in the APEC region. The Director will lead transformation initiatives drive automation and oversee finance projects that support regional growth compliance and operational excellence.

Key Contributions of the Role

a) Shared Services Strategy & Execution

  • Design and roll out a scalable Finance Shared Services model to centralize transactional processes (e.g. AP AR GL).
  • Improve efficiency and reduce duplication across hotel markets in APEC.
  • Ensure alignment with global finance transformation goals.

b) Technology & Automation

  • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to implement automation tools and enhancements.
  • Streamline finance operations through digital solutions and ERP optimization.
  • Champion innovation in finance processes across hotel properties.

c) Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR Legal and Operations to align finance processes with broader organizational goals.
  • Ensure seamless integration of shared services into hotel operations and support functions.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental initiatives that enhance financial governance.

d) Scalability & Growth Enablement

  • Build a robust foundation that supports future expansion including M&A integration and onboarding of new markets.
  • Minimize disruption during transitions and ensure continuity of finance services.
  • Support hotel pre-opening financial setup and regional growth initiatives.

e) Policy & Process Standardization

  • Establish and enforce consistent finance policies procedures and controls across all regions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Reduce risk and improve audit readiness through standardized practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduate
  • 12 years of finance experience with 5 years in shared services or regional finance leadership.
  • Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country finance operations and transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of hotel finance cycles and compliance frameworks.
