What will I be doing
Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility including physical buildings mechanical equipment electrical systems heating and cooling systems life safety systems and grounds.
Conduct facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Assign verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.
Direct oversee and maintain required documentation for energy management and conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
Lead manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations including scheduling budgeting and contractor compliance.
Obtain required licenses and permits to ensure full compliance with codes regulations and safety standards.
Direct daily department operations including guest service standards product quality inventory management cost controls and budgeting.
Monitor and develop team member performance providing supervision professional development and recognition.
Leader and self-starter with the ability to recruit interview and train mentor and motivate team members.
Strong mechanical aptitude including experience with boilers chillers two-pipe heating systems
Ability to execute a maintenance plan across guestrooms ensuring that the team has access to appropriate equipment and supplies
Requirements
Proven experience in property operations or engineering management within the hospitality industry a must.
Open availability
Strong knowledge of facility management safety regulations and maintenance practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with energy management and conservation programs.
Familiarity with capital project management and contractor bidding processes.
