We are seeking an ambitious and visionary Senior Principal Economy Designer to champion the economy design strategy for Candy Crush Saga the worlds most beloved match-3 game with over 200 million monthly active players.
Your role within the Kingdom
As Senior Principal Economy Designer you will be responsible for contributing to and evolving the long-term economy design vision for Candy Crush Saga. In this role youll shape and evolve the economy strategy that delivers meaningful rewarding experiences across all play styles - serving as a core driver of Candy Crushs long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Champion the Economy Vision
Own and evolve the long-term economy strategy for Candy Crush Saga aligning with both player motivations and business goals.
Design for Scale
Develop systems that support diverse playstylesacross hundreds of levels features and live eventswhile maintaining balance and pacing.
Lead Innovation
Design and implement scalable forward-thinking economy and progression models that keep the game fresh rewarding and competitive over time.
Drive Data-Backed Decisions
Collaborate with Product Analytics and Game Design to define economy KPIs monitor system health and optimize design decisions based on player insights and performance data.
Influence at All Levels
Align senior stakeholders on economy direction. Present a clear long-term vision and execution roadmap and partner cross-functionally to drive successful implementation.
Empower Teams
Provide frameworks and guidance that enable designers to build robust scalable economy components across the game.
Skills to Create Thrills
10 years of experience in economy and systems design roles with proven success in F2P games at scale.
Experience driving economy design strategy for large-scale live-operated F2P games.
A strong passion for match-3 games and a deep understanding of the casual gaming market.
Strategic mindset with a track record of solving complex economy and monetization challenges at both macro and micro levels.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing and developing designers to achieve their full potential.
Collaborative and persuasive communicatorcapable of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning diverse teams around a clear vision.
Deep analytical acumen with experience leveraging data and KPIs to inform design strategies and decisions.
Proficiency in creating economy simulations progression models and reward systems for complex multi-layered games.
