About Onnes Technologies

Onnes Technologies is a deep tech company pioneering innovation in QuantumScanning Probe Microscopy (qSPM) with a focus on cryogenic tools that enablebreakthroughs in low-temperature physics quantum computing and nano-electronics.

Notable products include:

  • CRYO-WALKING nanopositioner (arQtika): The first and only walking piezotechnology designed for ultra-low temperatures.
  • Cryogenic vibration isolation for cryogen-free dilution refrigerators(ZeroSpring): A groundbreaking tool enabling the application of ScanningProbe Microscopy in cryogen-free dilution refrigerators.

AsSales Manager you will help lead the commercialization of our cryogenic instrumentation and contribute to the strategic revenue growth of both product lines.

Your Role

Youll be at the forefront of our growth building trusted relationships with scientists and research institutions worldwide and ensuring our innovations reach the labs where theyll have the most impact. Youll own sales targets shape our commercial strategy and represent Onnes Technologies at international conferences whilekeeping a close feedback loop with our product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver sales targets while building long-term relationships withleading research groups worldwide.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the cryogenic instrumentation sciencelandscape and gather continuous customer insight.
  • Drive product sales and visibility in the scientific community by exhibiting atconferences and visiting key leads.
  • Build strong relationships with labs institutions and distributors both togather product feedback and expand commercial collaborations.
  • Further professionalize the sales processes from lead generation to orderintake to after-sales.
  • Mentor junior team members involved in (after) sales tasks.
  • Contribute to future products in the cryogenic instrumentation space (e.g. on topic of Quantum Metrology).

About You

  • Degree in Physics or related field (BSc/MSc or equivalent).
  • A hands-on sales leader with a proven track record of revenue generation in the field of scientific equipment.
  • Able to apply your expertise by introducing sales organisation best practice to shape a growing Sales Team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Highly self-driven proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Familiarity with scientific instrumentation ideally in SPM or cryogenic systems

Bonus Points

  • Direct experience with LT-SPM or related experimental setups.
  • Prior exposure to startup or scale-up environments in deep tech or scientifictools.
