Geotab is seeking a Sales Development Intern who will be the first point of contact for new leads in the Brazilian market. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients understanding their needs and qualifying them before passing them to our Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and Resellers. As a Sales Development Intern your key area of responsibility will beo manage and qualify inbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline for the Geotab Brazil team. You will be provided with a company device and a Brazilian SIM card to connect with leads in Brazil from your location in Canada. You will need to work closely with your manager the marketing team and the sales team (PAMs and Resellers) to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will be a confident and articulate communicator with a talent for building rapport quickly. You should be persistent results-oriented and highly organized with strong listening skills to accurately identify customer needs. A keen attention to detail for daily reporting and tracking activities is essential. Being comfortable with making phone calls and communicating professionally in both English and Portuguese is a must for this role. Its an entry-level position so while experience is a plus a willingness to learn a competitive spirit and a positive attitude are what matter most.
